National Single Window (NSW) Integration

On 27 March 2026, Nigeria launched Phase One of the National Single Window (NSW) project, fundamentally changing the country's trade ecosystem. Initiated under executive directive, the NSW serves as a unified digital platform that links all regulatory agencies, including the Nigeria Customs Service, the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank, and standards authorities, into one secure network. It replaces the old, fragmented system of separate portals with a single centralized gateway for all trade data.

LexSecure's tech stack is custom-built to sit natively within this single-window architecture. Instead of issuing physical paper documents that require manual entry, LexSecure connects via secure APIs. The moment a LexSecure inspector issues a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) overseas, the data is pushed automatically to the NSW ledger, delivering major benefits:

Pre-Arrival Assessment

Nigerian Customs and finance teams can view and verify shipping safety data before the physical vessel ever berths at a port.

Radical Turnaround Reductions

The typical cargo clearance window drops from several weeks down to just 24 to 48 hours.

Elimination of Administrative Forgery

Paper certificates can be forged, but LexSecure's API-to-API transmission removes this vulnerability completely, giving customs officials absolute confidence in the authenticity of every document.
